Although very few of us are likely to experience or find ourselves in a real survival situation. This course at
a basic level will equip the individual with the necessary information to be able to survive or to avoid emergency situations.
In the natural world we are often amazed, surprised and frequently confused by the wealth of flora and fauna sharing
the world around us. To be able to recognise plants, trees and fungi and to be able to understand the uses that some
of these natural resources can be put too, such as food and medicine.
There are few things in the great outdoors that can be more satisfying than to understand the signs left by a passing
animal, and having the skill to recognise these tracks and maybe to follow them in the hope of catching a glimpse of that
animal at close quarters.
At an advanced level this trip into nature will allow you to reach out and touch the natural world in a profoundly deeper
and life-enhancing way, which you will probably never have experienced before. Wether that experience is Kyacking, Canoeing ,
a Coastal Survival Camp or understanding the fundamental principles of tracking an animal in the wild, coming face
to face with nature will always touch at a level unique to each individual.
Bushcraft is perhaps the most complete of all outdoor skills, covering as it does knowledge from many sources.
Trevor Lucas will be your Chief Survival Instructor. We also employ a range of expert and support staff that are
highly experienced in their chosen field.
